musicMagpie, the quick and easy site to get cash for your old tech, conducted research that looked at the nations eco-friendly habits in order to find out which cities are the greenest in the UK. The survey had a particular focus on refurbished and reusing tech items like mobile phones and laptops to position their site as potential solution to the increasing problem of e-waste which is piling up in landfills.
We created an interactive map outlining all 15 of the greenest cities in the UK, with each city overlay displaying its ranking in the top 15 and highlighting interesting stats about that city from the research. Did you know, for example, York has the highest percentage of zero-plastic supermarket shoppers in the UK? The map was used on themusicMagpie site, in addition to making its way onto many news sites including The Sun.
